Your privacy is important to Renmo Estonia OÜ. This Privacy Policy explains the processing of personal data and the use of cookies by Renmo Estonia OÜ on the Renmo mobile app and website. www.renmo.eu.
Data to be collected
Generally, the information we collect is provided by you when you rent equipment from us or complete your user profile on our website or mobile app. Personal data may also be collected from external sources and databases. The data collected includes:
- name, date of birth and personal identification number, details of identity document;
- e-mail address, address and telephone number;
- customer relationship information, including communications between you and Renmo Estonia OÜ, feedback and surveys, billing and payment information, details of orders placed and details of contracts entered into with you;
- The IP address and the data collected during the authentication process, depending on the method used (Smart-ID or document-based authentication);
- estimates of payment behaviour and debt data (period of arrears, amount and data collected from external databases).
Use of collected data
We aim to use all data in a purposeful and secure way. Renmo Estonia OÜ will use the data collected as follows:
- to provide services to users, including logging into a website or mobile app, signing and fulfilling a contract, providing user support, billing;
- sending notifications to users (including for marketing purposes), if the user has given his or her prior consent;
- to fulfil orders and deliver the equipment rented;
- organising the accounts (e.g. issuing invoices and keeping them);
- to improve the service we provide, including statistics and analysis of user preferences.
Data transmission and publication
In certain cases, Renmo Estonia OÜ may transfer your data to third parties if necessary:
- where legally allowed or required to do so (e.g. in the context of legal proceedings);
- where the service providers we have selected provide services to us or to you in accordance with our instructions;
- in the context of a possible merger, acquisition or sale of a company or part of a company;
- to fulfil orders and deliver the equipment rented;
- organising the accounts (e.g. issuing invoices and keeping them);
- to improve the service we provide, including statistics and analysis of user preferences.
Such potential third parties are:
- our staff responsible for customer relations and user support, accountants, IT specialists, couriers, analysts;
- external IT partners, cloud service providers and auditors;
- The Tax and Customs Board and other national authorities;
- banks and payment service providers;
- other processors and persons involved in the performance of the contract;
- persons who help us exercise our rights under the contract (debt collectors, lawyers, credit reference agencies, etc.);
- parties and persons involved in any merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our assets.
Links to external pages and embedded content
Our mobile app and website may contain links to external websites or embedded content (e.g. user guides in the form of YouTube videos). Consumption of embedded content is, in substance, a visit to an external website where their own terms and conditions and privacy policy apply. Renmo Estonia OÜ has no control over how such external websites collect and process user data.
Data retention
We will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Policy or as required by applicable law.
Most of the data will be retained until the end of the customer relationship, but certain personal data may be retained after the end of the customer relationship if required or permitted by applicable law. For example, we will retain accounting records (e.g. copies of rental contracts, invoices) for 7 years from the end of the relevant financial year, as required by applicable law. When the retention of your personal data is no longer necessary under the law or in relation to the rights or obligations of either party, we will delete the collected data.
We implement appropriate security measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration or unauthorised access and disclosure. While we strive to protect the security of personal information through reasonable measures, no system can completely eliminate all potential security risks.
User rights
You have the right to access the data we have stored and processed. You also have the opportunity to correct, update, amend or delete the data we hold about you in your user profile. Certain data are essential for the provision of the service or required by law. This data cannot be deleted.
Under the conditions set out in the data protection legislation, you have the right to restriction or portability, i.e. the right to receive your personal data in an organised form in a commonly used machine-readable format and to transfer them to another controller at its own discretion. To exercise any of the above rights, please send your request to us using the helpdesk form available on the mobile application or on the website.
If you consider that your data has not been processed lawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Inspectorate.

Our mobile app and website use cookies or similar tools.
